My name is Jim Robinson, I’m in my thirties, I’m a businessman who owns and runs their own shop, but I am also so much more than that. As is everyone. After all, these little things like age and work do not have to define all that we are. Why should it? However, I have always believed that hard work of any kind should be rewarded. For a long time, that was my work. Still is, in fact. But it was also this site, too.

Over time I wanted to have a space to share more knowledge that I’ve learned, however. After all, rewarding people’s work is important, as it helps give them confidence with what they’re doing in their workplace! But it isn’t the be all end all of someone’s life. They have more to learn and more to give, as do you. Still, I liked the old name – Our Awards Work – and decided to not let it go to waste.

So, a little more about me now we know a little more about the site. I’m a proud father to one wonderful child, and outside of work I dabble in many things. In recent times, cryptocurrency has become something I enjoy a lot, though I am also an avid cook and homemaker alongside my wife.  We both also enjoy the arts, though she is a lot better at that side of things than I am. It’s a wonderful thing to enjoy your partner’s expressions, isn’t it?

All in all, I’m very lucky with the life I have. Life may be tough at times, and believe me we are all finding it tough at the moment, but despite everything there are comforts to enjoy and small pleasures that shouldn’t be overlooked.
